Eesh
Safari |
In EeshSafari
we met two teams of 10-12 year old boys and girls from throughout
the Arab World who lived in the heart of the wild in South Africa,
far from home, luxury, civilization, and everything they are familiar
with. The program was composedof 5 rounds of five days each. The first
round started with 2 teams of 4 each being selected while 6 of their
peers awaited their turn to join in. On the first and third days our
teams competed in a best of 5 series of challenges to be winner of
the Week. The winner was then rewarded with a treat and the “losing”team
was assigned a fun task to do. On the 5th day, our waiting kids competed
against each other to determine which two of them will join to become
new members of the teams. This continued each week until all 6 waiting
kids have been added to the teams. At the end the winner team was
the winner of 3 rounds of 5. In between these challenges, the program
focused on educating the kids about different ecology and environment
activities, how nature works, how they can participate in conservation
and live in harmony with potential dangerous animals. More, our Arab
kids were coming from different cultures and met other different cultures
in South Africa such as the “Zulu”and the “Sutu”ones.
It was a great meeting between different civilizations.
